Terms of Service

By creating a Sumalist account or installing the Sumalist iOS app you agree to these terms.

1. The service

Sumalist is a private workspace that lets you chat with AI-generated "analyst personas" built from research you upload or pipe in from Outlook. Answers are generated by large language models (currently Anthropic Claude) on demand. We don't guarantee accuracy and you must independently verify anything material before acting on it.

2. What you can do

• Upload research you have the right to upload.
• Bind a Microsoft Outlook folder you control to ingest new research emails.
• Share your analyst with specific users you choose.
• Publish your analyst to the public marketplace.
• Ask the analyst questions and use its answers in your own work, on your own judgment.

3. What you can't do

• Upload content you don't have the right to upload (copyright violation, breach of confidentiality, etc.).
• Use Sumalist to harass, defame, or target individuals.
• Reverse-engineer the service or attempt to extract another user's private data.
• Automate scraping of analyst answers in a way that bypasses the published rate limits.

4. AI disclosure

Analyst replies are produced by a large language model and may be wrong, incomplete, or out of date. Do not treat them as financial advice. Verify any number, date, source citation, or directional call against the underlying article before relying on it. Sumalist is a research workspace; it is not a registered financial advisor, broker, or fiduciary.

5. Cost + billing

While Sumalist is in early access, usage is free up to a plan-defined monthly LLM-spend cap (currently $10 / month Free, $50 / month Pro). The monthly cap is enforced server- side. When we introduce paid plans we'll give 30 days' notice via email before charging anything.

7. Termination

You can delete your account at any time (Profile → Delete account). We can suspend or delete accounts that violate these terms or that we have legal cause to remove. Where practical we'll email a heads-up first.

8. Liability

Sumalist is provided "as is." The maximum liability for any claim related to the service is the amount you paid in the 12 months prior to the claim (which today is $0). We aren't liable for trading losses, lost profits, or any decision you made based on an analyst answer.

9. Governing law

Israeli law governs these terms. Disputes are heard in the courts of Tel Aviv-Yafo, Israel.

10. Changes

Material changes are announced at least 30 days ahead via email + a banner on the chat page. Continued use after the change date means you accept the new version.
